Important Update About Wavi

Today, we are writing to share a difficult decision: Wavi will be closing down operations.

We started Wavi with the hope that we could build something genuinely valuable for buyers and sellers of second-hand fashion in the UAE. We believed there was room for a more thoughtful, trusted, and convenient experience, and we put our hearts into trying to make that vision a reality.

Over the past months, we worked hard to grow the platform, support sellers, and create opportunities for your items to find new homes. While we saw encouraging signs on some fronts, ultimately we were not able to build the level of traction needed to sustain the business long-term.

We want to sincerely thank you for the trust, patience, and support you gave us along the way. Many of you entrusted us with pieces that had both financial and personal value, and we are deeply grateful for that confidence. We are also truly sorry that we could not deliver the outcome we had hoped for your items and for the community we wanted to build.

Over the coming days, we will contact each seller individually to arrange either:

• the return of your items, or
• the donation of any items you choose not to have returned.

We are committed to making this transition as smooth and respectful as possible.

Building Wavi has been an incredibly meaningful journey for us, and we will always be thankful to everyone who believed in the idea and supported us along the way.
