1. Why sell with Wavi?

We take care of everything: from collecting your clothes, to photographing, pricing, listing, and delivering them to new owners.
All you have to do is request your Wavi bags and fill them with the pieces you’re ready to let go of.

2. What can you sell on Wavi?

Think quality over quantity.
We curate each piece to make sure our buyers find something special and our sellers feel proud of what they share.

✅ WE ACCEPT:

• Women's fashion: clothes, shoes, handbags, and accessories.
• Clean and in good condition — No pilling, fading, shrinking, stains, holes, or odors.
• Undamaged and unaltered. No missing labels, missing or broken parts, or alterations.
• Seasonal items that match the region’s climate and style.
• Brands with resale value: from premium prêt-à-porter to luxury brands (from Zara to Loewe). Find some more examples of brands we accept below:

❌ WE DON'T ACCEPT:

• Men's or kids' fashion
• Fast-fashion items with low resale quality (i.e, H&M, Bershka, Shein, Brands for Less, Forever21, Pull&Bear, Stradivarius, River Island, Temu, New Look, Splash, Max…)
• Unbranded pieces, imitations, or counterfeit items
• Worn-out, dirty, modified, or damaged clothing
• Underwear, sleepwear, or swimwear

💡 Tip: If you wouldn’t gift it to a friend, it’s probably not right for Wavi.

3. How does it work?

Step 1 — Request your Wavi bag

You can order up to 5 free Wavi bags. We’ll send them straight to your door. Each bag measures 50 x 60 cm and can typically contain 8-12 items of clothing.

Step 2 — Fill it mindfully

Add your pre-loved clothes — clean, folded, and ready to flow on.

Step 3 — Send it back

Seal the bag and schedule a pickup through our WhatsApp. That’s it — no label printing, no drop-off needed.

Step 4 — Relax, and let us handle the rest

Our team will carefully review each item, select the pieces that fit Wavi’s quality standards, and take care of professional photography, listing, and pricing the items. You’ll receive updates at every step of the process.

Step 5 — You earn

Once your item sells, you’ll receive an update, and your payout will be processed by the end of the month.

4. The Wavi Selection & Listing Process

Each piece goes through a thoughtful review:

1. Quality check: no stains, pilling, tears, odors, or modifications.
2. Style review: seasonal, on-trend, or timeless aesthetics.
3. Authenticity check – brand verification.
4. Professional photography & listing: your clothes presented beautifully to buyers.
   

Items that don’t make the cut are either donated responsibly through verified partners or returned to you (you will be charged a processing + shipping fee), depending on your preference.

Once your item passes our verification process, we’ll assign it a fair price based on its category, quality, and condition using insights from our AI-powered system and market trends.

5. How do we price your items?

At Wavi, our goal is to price every piece fairly and consistently — so it sells quickly while giving you the best possible return. We do this using an algorithm-based pricing system that looks at:

1. The Brand

Some brands naturally hold more value over time. We group them into tiers:

• Luxury: Chanel, Dior, Prada...
• Premium: Sandro, Maje, Reiss...
  
• High Street: COS, Zara, Massimo Dutti...

Each tier has its own resale range — luxury pieces can sell for up to 80% of their original retail price, while prêt-à-porter items are typically capped at 40%-50%.

2. The Condition

We carefully inspect every item to ensure it meets Wavi’s standards.

The better the condition, the higher the resale value.

3. The Style

Trends matter! We look at whether an item is:

• Trending → currently in high demand (e.g. linen sets)
  
• Timeless → classic pieces that always sell (e.g. blazers, shirts)
  
• Outdated → styles that are no longer in demand

Trending or timeless pieces sell faster and at better prices.

4. The Category

Some categories hold their value more strongly — for example, dresses and coats typically resell for higher prices than accessories or shoes. We reflect these differences in our final price.

6. Payouts & Earnings

We believe in transparency: you’ll always know what you earn.
Wavi’s commission covers shipping, photography, listing, storage, and customer support.

Your commission will be based on each item's final sale price:

Payouts are processed monthly at the end of each month for all items sold during that period.
